  I have been going to Ashanti Hair for years now.
  
  I recently went for a full head of foils and a trim (yes, it was barely a hair cut since my layers and fringe were not cut at all)
  
  Not only does my hair not look any different, no treatments were used as they usually do.
  
  They have increased their prices dramatically and BEWARE, they do not inform you of the price change until AFTER your appointment...funny that. Which i have to add is also ILLEGAL, as it is misleading customers.
  
  Overall, they TRIED to charge me $280 for a full head of foils and barely a trim which i think is appalling considering 6 weeks earlier i had the same done (only they actually cut my layers and fringe) and it cost me $140 which was reasonable.
  
  After kicking up a stink, they managed to get the price down to $201 and by that time i was so livid, i was shaking with anger.
  
  And to make matters worse, they offered me a 'free', very cheap looking scarf - which is offered to customers who pay over $200 (hence the extra one dollar im guessing!)
  
  Im beyond disappointed. Ashanti were overpriced to begin with but i dealt with it because of the great service i received but now this salon has gone downhill very quickly.
  
  I certainly do not recommend this Salon.

  I have been going to Ashanti for a long time. I followed them when they moved to Bantry Bay Shops last year.
  The staff are very friendly and very experienced in all aspects of hairdressing. For years i have had my colour/cut/style there and never have i been disappointed.Their Prices are very reasonable for the standard of work they do. One of the best salons on the Northern Beaches. Recommend it to any one. You won't be disappointed.
